Preparations for Indawo

Indawo is one of the most popular holidays in Eldaro. It brings the inhabitants together in a joyful way. Indawo means that the inhabitants celebrate the end of the summer and the start of the autumn. The gathering happens on the beach at the Upper Sea and the beach at the Lower Sea in Eldaro.   The sunset  Every inhabitant wants to be present at Indawo to see the sunset. It gives us a kind of new strength and a positive attitude. The moment the sun sets on that day, the autumn sets in. A lot of inhabitants have beautiful memories of Indawo. Respect for each other in Eldaro is the most important aspect. When Indawo happens, the respect for each other grows even stronger, because when we are all gathered together, we understand how important it is to have people around you.  Atmosphere, cosiness and food  Everyone who comes to watch the sunset on the Upper Sea or the Lower Sea beaches takes something tasty with them. There is plenty of food for everybody. Sharing the dishes only takes place after the sun has set. After that there is time for dining, chattering and even dancing. Indawo is the perfect time to get know new people.

Indawo preparations  The people organizing Indawo are busy determining the date of the next Indawo. A lot of calculation is needed to determine the exact time and day.
