Every fortnight we try to keep you informed of what is happening in the world around you. From discovering new plant or animal species to new ways of taking care of the environment. We are here to give you the latest updates.

The Wildlife Centre has good news!

It has been less than a month since a young orca washed ashore on the coast of the Upper Sea. The animal was completely weakened. Luckily, some locals saw the orca and called the Wildlife Centre for help. Thanks to the swift intervention, she quickly regained its strength.

The caretakers at the Wildlife Centre were impressed by the animal in the beginning and eventually created a close bond with it. They named her Sofia. She will be in perfect health by the end of the week, said the caretakers. Sofia will be released back into the wild next week.

Donation of 10 new windmills to neighbour Infinitum

The council of Elders has agreed to donate 10 new windmills to our neighbour Infinitum. This decision was made because there has recently been a breakthrough in making our potions. Exceptional minerals have been found in the soil of Infinitum that can personalize our potions even more and make them more effective.

Infinitum agreed that we use this material, because it is abundant in the land. Thanks to this generous donation, Eldaro decided to donate 10 brand new windmills. This increases green energy in the United Branded Nations and by donating them, other countries can learn how to use them.

The population of the moose is stable again!

For more than five years the population of the moose was unstable. Some years there were too many, other years the species was at risk of disappearing. After monitoring the animals, we concluded that the population of the moose has now been stable for more than two years. This is great for the natural cycle.

The moose of Eldaro live mainly in the Central Forest. They eat several plants. Their natural enemies are wolves and bears. In spring, we hope to see a lot of young moose!

New forest planting

The plans for new afforestation have been approved! In spring no less than 50 square kilometres will be planted in the east of Eldaro. The trees will be planted manually by Eldarians. More information about this event will soon be available on the website of Eldaro.

Eldaro remains extremely motivated to provide the Eldarians with the healthiest possible environment. "Respect for nature remains vital, but we only want to strengthen this," says Leah Sommerfield (responsible for the construction project). It is an amazing project and we cannot wait to see what comes next.
